The water channel cover or locally known as inrit along Jalan Lagoa Terusan, RW 03, Lagoa Urban Village, Koja, North Jakarta were demolished by PPSU personnel, Monday (1/11). The effort was aimed to ease the channel cleaning.

Lago Urban Village Head, Indria Hilmi, admitted that the channel was never been dredged. It disturbed the water flow.
"We need to demolish the cover to ease the channel cleaning and dispose the trash and mud," Hilmi said.
Inrit on Water Channel Along Janur Kuning DismantledAs the result, PPSU personnel transported 150 sacks of trash and mud from 200 meter water channel.
"It is hoped the effort will prevent puddle during rainy season," Hilmi added.
